Publication Language of The Bulletin of Legal Medicine
Dear Researchers and Authors,
In order to strengthen our journal's position within the international scientific publishing system and to enhance the global visibility, accessibility, and citation potential of published studies, a significant transformation in our publication policy has been initiated by the decision of the Editorial Board and the Executive Board of ATUD.
As of 29 October 2026, only English manuscripts will be accepted for all submission types to be published in The Bulletin of Legal Medicine.
Turkish manuscripts submitted to the system prior to 29 October 2026 that are currently under review will be processed and completed in accordance with the existing guidelines.
We extend our sincere gratitude for your support and contributions, and we look forward to welcoming your valuable research to our journal.
Sincerely.
Editorial Board of The Bulletin of Legal Medicine

Article Processing Charge for 2026
Dear Author,
The Bulletin of Legal Medicine charges a submission fee for the articles submitted from the authors during the first submission. This is a decision we have had to take to ensure the sustainability of our journal and achieve higher levels of success. We believe that your support will continue to increase.

Problem logging into the journal panel
Authors experiencing issues accessing the journal dashboard should clear their browser cache. For example, in Google Chrome, press the SHIFT, CTRL, and DELETE keys simultaneously. In the "Delete Browsing Data" window that appears, select "All Time." Check the "Cookies and other site data" box, and click the "Delete data" button to refresh the browser's cache.
Journal Templates
Dear Author,
Our journal's blinded article template is designed so that, in our double-blind peer-review system, neither the author's name, who prepared the article, nor the names of the reviewers who uploaded comments to the system are seen by the author. This information is automatically deleted.
In order to prevent waste of effort and time, and to evaluate the manuscript drafts you send to The Journal, you must use Journal templates, which you can download to your computer using the following links on the journal website, and which contain explanations for the writing rules in the comments section.
Authors Information
Dear Author,
During the submission of the article, it is vital that you enter not only your own name but also the names and academic information of all the authors in the study, when your article is scanned by indexes such as Crossref, Google Scholar, Microsoft Scholar, Index Copernicus after it is published. Therefore, studies that do not include the names and academic information of all the authors may not be evaluated. Thank you for your understanding.
